Eagle's Nest just has 'get away' written all over it. It is a place where it's presence gets out of the way enough so that you can find the freedom to relax. The present owners are a couple. They are the Eagle's Nest third owners and it looks like it is for keeps. Eagle's Nest was built in 1983 with remnants and some cabin's dating back to the 1940's right next to Summit Ski Resort, and on Highway 18, which is a good luck number according to some ancient ways of thinking. Eighteen has always been good to me…it is nineteen that can be annoying.
Breakfast is at nine o'clock in the morning for everyone. This could be conveniently cool, especially by the fact that you only have one time for breakfast. The rooms are charming with some having oversized Jacuzzi tubs and fireplaces as well. Little suites with Bear Mountain motifs allow the mementos Eagle's Nest to live up to its name.
The eagle is such a regal bird that it needs rest like all of us. All that soars within Eagle's Nest is much effort to accommodate your rest. The goal is to make the Eagle's Nest, your nest. For me that mission has been accomplished.
