Juliano's Raw Restaurant

"America's #1 premiere raw living chef?" ? New York Times

By Anthony Curatolo

Give raw a chance especially  in a warm climate. I have found eating raw to be a wonderful experience however I differ from the philosophy of all the time, everyplace. In a cold climate I eat some grains necessary to heat the body, I realize some of us are more warm than others and I am one of them. While up in Mill Valley in the winter I and my girlfriend ate raw, when the temperatures dropped my body dropped to sub-zero temperatures, and I'm the one who's always hot. So drastic ideology with general all out applications don't apply completely to all individual needs. Juliano agrees for all novices to the cuisine. Though I apply a 70 - 80% rule this is a good place to learn and educate yourself on raw food awareness. A statement in the front of the menu states that the "simple act of cooking naturally releases acrylamide (metals and countless toxins). Acrylamide, a documented carcinogen by the FDA and EPA, can cause tumors and nerve damage" - L.A. Times, April 6, 2004.

Go with your own instincts and enjoy the healthful benefits of eating food that looks great, is great for you, and makes you feel about yourself.
