Patria is ten years old. The original design colors have been changed 100%. The Nuevo Latin American chef, Andrew DiCataldo, travels a lot. He likes to play with different spices, which makes his meals truly flavorful. George, the manager has a lot of life. His hospitality feels like home. The energy of the staff is exuberant. The red and orange walls stimulate passion and appetite. There is a beautiful red clay oven that steals your attention. The service has perfect old world hospitality.
Patria is the only Latino restaurant with three stars. Wines are served by the glass. Of them is one of the rarest grape wines in Spain called Arirco Viejo Tempranillo Grape.
Among Patria’s signature appetizers are the Ceviche Mixto and Empanada De Queso. I am eating a five course vegetarian meal that consists of white and black peppers, string beans, sautéed mushrooms, and asparagus. I am getting all of the vegetables and sides on the menu. The Chopped Salad is an original creation from Chef Andrew.
For dessert I enjoy the Chocolate Bon Bons, although, the Flantastico is popular as well. Patria has truly satisfied my tongue, stomach, and spirit.
