Red Dragon Yoga

By A. Curatolo

Red Dragon Yoga is three and a half years old.  It is an oasis to the creaks and crankies of some aspects of Mill Valley.  Everything here is based around the auspicious dragon such as the colors of the floor and the art.

Craig Fruchter, the owner is a yoga enthusiast and is also a clothing designer.  There are many dedicated yoganis who come to Red Dragon Yoga, and I send out my salutations to these beautiful goddesses who keep these beautiful hills of Mill Valley reverberating with “Love”.  The essence of yoga, which means union cannot take place without love…

The classes are heated to different degrees.  Bring a lot of water and wear comfortable clothes, believe me, you’ll sweat. If you don’t, you are probably not of this Earth.  There is no need to worry about being unpleasant afterwards because there are showers. The medium sized rooms’ make the classes intimate.

As I mentioned earlier, Craig is a clothing designer and is currently making yoga clothing for men, women, and children.  Some even have subliminal messages.  For example, a child’s bib that says, “patience”. Many of the clothes are made with organic cottons.  There is also a line of organic Red Dragon creams.  Red Dragon Yoga is buoyant and the feeling that Red Dragon Yoga gives off is one that of a euphoric New York.

While visiting, bring some snacks along.  Nuts and fruit would be essential because the workouts are vigorous. If it slips your mind, whole foods are two doors up.  No matter which way the Dragon touches you, good luck abounds!
